Basic physics – the past cannot be changed

Basic biology – the dead cannot be made alive again

The connection between love and information transmission.  The maintainence of social organizations requires the transmission of subtle and complex information about emotional states, and subtle and complex information about the consequences of actions.  Encoding and decoding this information is extremely time and labor intensive, hence the transmission and reception of complex information requires love.

Without love, the transmission bandwidth is limited to simple emotional states, and it is difficult to communicate the complex information necessary for the maintainence of social institutions.

Control of information is a source of power.
